1900 will celebrate its seventieth reunion June 12-14. Bob Jackson is the only member of the class who is able to be present on this occasion. It is to be hoped some of the members of the 1900 family can be in Hanover to participate in the Commencement activities and to extend a welcome to Dr. John G. Kemeny who was recently inaugurated as the thirteenth president of Dartmouth College.

Ruth Bean, daughter of "Cap" Jenkins, writes me that she is looking forward with much anticipation to the series of events commemorating the centennial of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts of which she is a member. Ruth Reed, daughter of J. M. Button, sends me a most interesting letter about her favorite volunteer activity. Kansas U., located in Lawrence, admits students from foreign countries with many diverse backgrounds. This has led to the establishment of a community-wide project participated in by many Protestant denominations, Roman Catholics, and Jews, which brings helpful service to these overseas people who need counseling, advice, and help, in meeting difficult cultural adjustments. Recently Ruth new to Florida for a vacation, and enjoyed a three weeks' visit with relatives and
