As of early May, the Class of 1956 is doing exceedingly well in the Alumni Fund Drive with both dollar increases and number of donors substantially ahead of last year.

Barry Bockers has been promoted to vice president of Manufacturer's Hanover Trust. Barry lives in Norwalk, Conn., and has an MBA from NYU. Jack Mendelsohn has been promoted to Class 4 in the Foreign Service. He is currently attached to the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw where he is serving as political officer. Prior to his tour in Poland, which will end this summer, Jack served in Washington and Haiti. He is scheduled to spend one year in school after his return to the States. He and his wife Micaela have two daughters.

Bill Loyer has just been elected a vice president of the Master Photo Dealers and Finishers Association. President of Ludwig Photo Enterprises, Cheyenne, Wyo., he will .represent photographic concerns in the West Central Area, stretching from North Dakota and Montana in the north to Texas in the south. My thanks to everyone for their cooperation this past two years. I'm sure my successor as class secretary this next fall will appreciate your continued support. Have a happy summer.
