Questions have been raised as to the date of our fall reunion since it has been announced that the Yale game will be played in Hanover this year. Let it be known that we are staying with the originally planned weekend of October 9, which is the Penn game, and that headquarters will be at the Woodstock Inn. We hope of course that there will be many who will also attend the Yale game on October 30 and that there can be some kind of get together on that weekend too. Prior to that we will be traveling to Little Compton, R.I., for the Haffenreffer chicken barbeque on Saturday, June 26. Carol and Carl are hoping that we will break all attendance records for a summer meeting. They're promising good food and a chance to explore the fort atop which their Seaconnet Point Farm was built.

Liela and Bob Marr report from Columbia on their freighter trip around South America. "The ship arrived the night of the 31st, and we were able to board the next day but didn't sail until the evening of the 3rd. Then it was just an overnight hop, followed by 24 hours in Ensenada, Mexico, loading cotton for Chile. Since then we have had eight beautiful days at sea en route to our first South American port. The rest of the trip now seems to shape up like this: Callao, San Juan, Matarani in Peru; Antofagasta, Chanaral, Valparaiso, San Antonio and Punta Arenas in Chile; Rio Santos and Paranague in Brazil; Buenos Aires; Valparaiso and Callao again; Guayaquil; Benaventura again, and finally Los Angeles."

Two more classmates have established Florida addresses. Dean Wiggin at 6140 Midnight Pass, Sarasota, and Randy Snow at Box 1752, Fort Lauderdale. In the meantime, some of us continue to work for a living and shiver through a New England winter. Hal Booma has assumed worldwide responsibility for the machinery group products of USM with headquarters in Boston.

We had a pleasant evening recently with Gladys and Dick Parker in Providence, Dick is concentrating his Egyptian research presently on finding out all there is to know about their scientific knowledge. The Magenaus were also there. Gene continues his work on the Rhode Island Hospital Ambulatory Center which is projected for completion in 1972, and Sally already knows more about Providence and Rhode Island than we natives do.

Judge Blair Wood, District Court of Iowa, recently declared unconstitutional a censorship ordinance in his home town of Waterloo. Although his decision was not received with enthusiasm, he was recently re-elected by a three to one margin.

Wade Safford has organized a new venture in Alexandria, "Robinson House," which is designed to create a family life for alcoholics who have been through rehabilitation and have no family to which to return. Wade has leased housing facilities and is now seeking private funds for making up the difference between total costs and what the users of this service can contribute.

Louise Benson has announced the engagement of her daughter Martha to Larry Dow of Hanover. They are both attending Trinity College.

Gwen and Dick Bowlen will go to Nassau in March for a yachting venture with friends. Dick is doing consulting work in the SCORE program of the SBA in addition to his duties at Markem. He has built an interesting mini-house in his back yard, which will be transported by flatbed to a Vermont ski site later in the spring. EdBrazil has been named vice president of Kewaydin Shores, Incorporated, owner and developer of industrial and residential real estate in the Laconia area.
