When is a Big Greener not a Big Greener? Maybe when he's a coed.

What was once a farfetched dream, like Shangri-La or a Met pennant, is rapidly becoming reality, and soon girls will walk across the Green, not as occasional weekend visitors, summer students or exchanged personnel, but as full-fledged matriculated Men of Dartmouth.

They'll be in an Associated School, but will dine, read, study, jog, write, play, and live side-by-side with a race which was founded by Eleazar and purified by beanies, bonfires, lonely weekends, and the almighty keg.

"The unique Dartmouth experience" and "the last place where a guy can get a good liberal arts education without being bothered with girls" may never be the same. We'd be glad to hear from you on the subject of women in general and at Dartmouth in particular.

A few Indians are letting their actions speak. Bruce McKissock, an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia following Villanova Law School, and Laurie Shannis, a Skidmore alumna and second year Villanova Law student, were married in May.

Another lawful coupling, this one on June 6, will find David Spivak, a New York City trial attorney with law degrees from the University of Connecticut and New York University, and Grinnell grad Barbara Lewis, exchanging vows. Barbara has an MA in English literature from Wisconsin and is in her second-year at NYU.

Graham Gerade, an engineering student at Northeastern and an employee of Microwave Associates in Burlington, Mass., has designated a July 24 wedding with Katherine Fiore, a fellow Microwave worker.
