Lane Dwinell has been very much in the newspapers and on TV lately as the man in charge of handling President Nixon's primary campaign in New Hampshire Lane is chairman of the board of the National Bank of Lebanon. He served as governor of New Hampshire from 1955 to 1959 and after that became Assistant Secretary of State for Administration, a post he held in Washington during the last two "ears of the Eisenhower administration. He returned to Lebanon last July after serving wo years as Assistant Administrator of the agency for International Development visiting many of the 39 underdeveloped countries with which the agency is concerned.
Our boys who retire just wont give up. Mort Jennings, who retired recently as senior vice president of The First National Bank of Boston, has been named financial advisor to First National Stores, Inc. the Somerville, Mass., based supermarket chain
Adnah Harlow recently retired as high sheriff of Plymouth County, Mass.
Hank Moore, third generation manager of George W. Moore, Inc., Waltham, Mass., manufacturers of set screws, has retired and moved last month to Stuart, Fla., near West Palm Beach.
Dave McCathie retired as manager ot a restaurant in Emporia, Va., and now lives in Ridge Manor, Fla. Where is that, Dave. I can't find it on my map.
After a distinguished career at Kensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N. Y., since 1928 as English teacher, soccer coach and administrator, Dick Schmelzer has retired and moved to 324 Mandalay Shores, Clearwater Beach, near Tampa.

Al Lerer resigned last summer as superintendent of the Maynard (Mass.) school system. A graduate of Maynard High School, Al returned after graduation from Dartmouth and taught history there for eight years, also serving as head coach for the football and track teams. Promotions to principal and superintendent followed, with time out to serve four years in the Army Air Corps.
Bill and Emelyn Rohlffs visited the Clark Blyths in Norwich, Vt., recently. Bill was Clark's roommate at Dartmouth and they hadn't seen each other in 42 years. Bill retired January 1 as secretary of the Standard Insurance Co. of Portland; they have just built a new home at 16920 SW 129 St., King City, Tigard, Ore., 20 minutes from Portland.
