The early summons to naught-eight's 65th Reunion in June 1973 has sounded. Answering Dave Orr's request to appoint a Reunion Chairman, Pop Chesley offered your secretary. Breathes there a man who would not make a profound effort to please Pop? Thus it stands. As a practical matter, however, there must be a deputy to fill in when the secretary may suddenly be unavailable. This is not too early to appraise the secretary of your intentions to attend, or not to attend, or of possibilities.

Jack Thompson contributes one of his delightfully philosophic and humorous billets. Though Jack still paints—(a blessed hobby, he admits)—his card labelled "Final Edition" means that not only painting is more of a chore, but funny situations from which he draws inspirations happen less often then they did. Besides, he is now fully disconnected with the office and gets no secretarial help. Well, Jack, keep your head up. Take a stroll around the boat and you will find all of us right there with you.

Notice from Hanover reveals that Mrs. John (Glady) Everett continues to reside at 122 Maple Street, Bristol, Conn. 06010. Only four reports came of attendance at football games last fall. They were received after the events: Walker at the Yale game, Hinman at the Penn and Yale games. Furman at the Princeton game. The secretary could exchange information for you if notified early. You would have to exchange seat numbers.

John and Jenny Hinman will be spending their vacation at the Belleview- Biltmore, Clearwater, Fla., and will return about April 1. John will then apply his talent to collection for the Annual Alumni Fund. Let's help him, for this is the first year after the Third Century Fund has passed.

Secretary, 18 Bailey Ave. Montpelier, Vt. 05602

Treasurer, 17 Harland Place, Norwich, Conn. 06360
