Dr. Jay Shumaker reports having been on the wrong side of the bed recently. More accurately, he was in bed, with an unnamed malady. Jay presently is rallying, recuperating and completing a fellowship in gastroenterology in Boston. Spectators include wife and year-and-a-half old son.
Johannes Trapp is enjoying his customary ups and downs across Vermont's wintry countryside. His four-year-old cross country equipment business meanwhile is enjoying only "ups"—about a 100 percent yearly increase. Johannes was featured in the January 14 issue of Life in an article on "The Family Sport."
Parkinson's Law of Bachelorhood has been startingly reversed by Maureen Anne Hurley, whose evidently intense studies on the subject left Roger Parkinson no alternative but to invalidate his law and engage Miss Hurley. A March wedding was planned for Roger and the graduate of Emmanuel College.
Bill Bottger would enjoy hearing from classmates in the Los Angeles area. Bill, wife Shirley and son Carl are expecting an April addition to the family. Bill is practicing law now and can be found in LA at 168 South Detroit St.
Chuck Pfeiffer, who graduated from West Point and ultimately landed in Vietnam, reportedly is engaged, living in New York City, and working for Columbia Pictures. His souvenirs from the war zone include a silver and a bronze star.
