'Tis the last column of the year. Trust you all have the same feeling of accomplishment as June draws to a close and some of life's problems can be postponed a bit with the more relaxing atmosphere of summer.
John Jennings has been named vice president of the Mentor Corp. John, since his return to Colorado in 1966, has been general manager of the Redfield Gunsight Corp. and more recently vice president of Heron Poma Co., a subsidiary of Mentor. Trust that these corporate advances haven't kept you too busy to do justice to your ranching at Conifer, John.
The spring '45 get-together in Boston at the end of April brings out the newsworthy announcement that '45's 30th Reunion is just around the corner. Moose Rowan named Mo Frye to be reunion chairman with talented assistance to be given by Jim Andrew, Paul Caravatt, John Leggat, JoeMichael, Al Ungar, and Tom Yates. This reunion will be held in June 1975 along with '44 and '46 so that college friendships can be reestablished with all three classes. To old reunion goers, the 30th will be too good to miss - to you non-reunion goers, plan to come and join us and learn why these are such enjoyable and rewarding experiences.
A note of sadness - Andy Marks died April 1, and hopefully his obituary will be found in this issue.
The Alumni Fund is drawing to a close. The '45 objective is $42,000. Al Ungar, Geoff MacLay, and their assistants are going thru the usual June activities. How about getting your gift in today, so that not only can Dartmouth's cause be advanced, but so that the agents can be spared that last-minute hassle of phone calls and pleadings.
