The first gathering of alumni in the Geneva area took place November 30 at the home of J. Clark Moore Jr. '43, 101 Route de Florissant, 1211 Conches/Geneva. The Swiss Brigade was assembled by Moore and Ron Murphy '55 and was evaluated a great success since all but two of the 33 alumni contacted responded to invitations. However, because others had prior commitments or were out of town, only 19 Dartmouth men and wives were able to attend. They were Bernard C. Baehler '58, Erik Dalrymple '62, Robert J. Eckert '65, Alan K. Jackson '52, Kenneth Kvistad '63, J. Clark Moore '43, Tomislav Munetic '58, Ronald T. Murphy '55, Donald D. Saunders '57, Bellamy H. Schmidt '69. Konrad E. Streuli '62, and Thurston M. Egbert Jr. '52.
Joel D. Goldfield '76, who is spending some six months abroad studying, gave an up-to-date undergraduate's report on Hanover happenings. Although the group has not yet reached official organization stage, it has placed informal gatherings on the agenda, the next one in February is at the Kvistad home.
