Dick and his three key aides - Clyde Brownstone, who heads up the Resources Committee; Tom Schwarz, who runs the Participation Committee; and ChuckWinslow, the regional agent coordinator - report that the pledge drive is going strong.

Bruce, his wife Mary Jean, and their three children live in Dayton.

Attorney Preston Davis is a partner in the Milton, Pa., law firm of Davis, Davis & Kaar. A native of Milton, Preston is president of the Susquehanna Valley Area Council, a member of the Milton Borough Planning Commission and is active in the Boy Scouts, the. Girl Scouts, and the Lutheran Church. Preston and his wife Meg have four "K's" - Kerry, Kathy, Kirk, and Kelly.

Larrie Calvert, it is most belatedly reported, has been elected an Alumni Trustee of Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vt. He is president of Pollution Control Industries, Inc., of Stamford, Conn., a firm primarily involved in the production of ozone generators for the purification of air, drinking water, and waste water. Larry taught at the Academy following graduation from the College and has been active in numerous Academy alumni affairs.

Bill Edgerton, a recent convert to suburbia, now commutes from New Canaan, Conn., to the Big Apple, where he is president of Construction Publishing Company, Inc. Bill spent three years in Harvard's graduate schools of architecture and business, and then toiled for McGraw-Hill for seven years. A restorer of musical boxes and pianos, he is a past president and trustee of the Musical Box Society, an international organization of persons interested in all forms of mechanical music. Bill is an avid traveler - he has been to Europe four times and plans to go again. The Edgerton's have one daughter Annie who is three.

Herb Hansen, for 11 years a U.S. Navy lieutenant commander in the Polaris Submarine Program, is now president of Unicore, Inc., in North Haven, Conn. Herb started the company which is involved in nuclear reactor technology and engineering - he has an MBA in that field from New Haven University. In his spare time, Herb builds ship models (so, incidentially, does Howie Keller, who is out in Devon, Pa., in the marine insurance business) and plays the alto recorder. Herb recently built a harpsicord which he and his wife Sue both play. Herb is active in fund raising and adult education for the Episcopal Church and hopes to build a vacation home at Eastman in Grantham, N.H. The Hansens live in Madison, Conn., with their two daughters.

Out in Philipsburg, Pa., Dave Pritchard is in the business of the hour - petroleum! Dave is president and owner of the J. W. Pritchard Company, one of Gulf Oil's largest distributorships. The company was founded by Dave's grandfather and was later managed by Dave's father. Now Dave is at the helm and his 12-year-old son Josiah David is coming on strong. Despite keeping up with the energy crisis and the Federal mandates which affect him and his customers, Dave finds time to work for the local historical society, the library and the Heart Association. He is also a Rotarian, a member of BPOE and a Shriner. Dave's wife Jerilin is a substitute teacher of the mentally retarded and is active in the Federation of Women's Clubs.

Bill and Joanne Flood and new daughter Lindsey are enjoying the good small town life out in Conyngham, Pa. Bill is co-owner of the Highway Equipment & Supply Company, a construction equipment distributorship in the Harrisburg-Hazleton area. The most interesting aspect of his job. Bill says, is "managing the growth of the company without becoming a slave to it." Bill adds the following information about his outside activities: "most important: president of the YMCA; most interesting: bank director; most enjobable: tennis." For the future, the Floods plan to build a new home, make some real estate investments and travel as a family.

Bill suggests that more photographs would add considerably to this column. Agreed! Why not send me some - candids of the family on vacation, the old man talking with the V.I.P.'s he meets in his travels, classmates together at various functions, etc. You send 'em, we'll run 'em.

Make that pledge to the Alumni Fund now!
