Modesty to the winds - I'll open this column by tooting the horn about my own new son, Kevin Paul, born February 24. He is our third - has an older brother 5 and a sister 3. Needless to say, the Mahoneys are in trouble with ZPG.
Word comes form Harry and Nancy Hansen that he has joined an orthopedic group in South Orange, N.J., and has become involved at the New Jersey School of Medicine. Another task he undertook this fall was to be team physician for the Maplewood High School football team - the Hansens live in Maplewood. Harry is now known as Roger in local circles to distinguish him from his dad.
Jeff North has been appointed manager of the Hartford, Conn., branch of the Architectural and Home Building Products Division of Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corporation. He's been with Owens-Corning since graduation.
Sad news is the death of Dr. Barry Gross, who Miccumbed in Miami in early January after a 2½ year struggle with cancer. He leaves his wife Sara and two daughters, Miriam Eva, 5 and Amy Maxine, 3. An obituary will appear in a future issue of the Alumni Magazine.
The Dartmouth Club of San Francisco, under the leadership of its president Derek Knudsen, will host a Dartmouth College conference on "Critical Choices" of the next decade on May 17-19.
