Film Producer Ron Roth's latest production is Beyond The Bermuda Triangle, starring Fred MacMurry, Sam Groom, and Donna Mills. The film, which premiered in prime time on NBC-TV in early November, was blurbed as "a luxury cruiser vanishes in the 'Bermuda Triangle!' Is there really a sinister force at work?" Unfortunately, I can't answer because I found out about the film too late.

Gene Stichman says he is alive and well and living in San Diego with wife Ellen and their two children. Gene is the planner-programmer for the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center in San Diego.

A note from Carl Schmidt's wife Rika reads as follows: "Carl is in Brazil on State Department business so I am paying the bills. Carl is director of the Office of International Trade at State. We returned last year from five years in Eastern Europe: three years in Prague, where Carl was in the Political/Economic section of the U.S. Embassy; and two years in Warsaw where he was counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs." The Schmidts live in Washington.

Bob Prasch also qualifies as a man with considerable international experience. Bob has been in Cairo since the first of the year as project manager for TAMS, which has a contract with the Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction. "We are involved in the restoration and planning for the Suez Canal region to the year 2,000," Bob writes. "Other projects include new high level bridges over the Nile River and proposed tunnels under the Suez Canal. We had been in Kenya for five years and after 18 months at home, we decided to go overseas again."

Tom Schwarz passed on a letter from Rod Dubois, who is the chairman of the board of Alexander & Bladwin Agribusiness Corporation in Honolulu, a business which manages largescale agricultural projects in many parts of the world. Rod's travel schedule for the next year includes visits to Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beruit, Tehran, Abidjan, Douala, Zurich, London and Paris. He will be contacting classmates in those areas for the Alumni Fund.

Ray Marks and Don Hutchins planned to surprise Don Cowlbeck and his wife Gail on Don's 40th birthday, during a weekend at Stowe, Vt. Hopefully, the surprise lessened the shock of turning 40, Don! Ray Marks is still serving as district enrollment director and treasurer of the Dartmouth Club of Princeton.

The new vice president and general merchandise manager of the Higbee Company in Cleveland is Howie Abrams. The Abrams are living in Shaker Heights.

News from two oilmen:

Alfonso Escalante is with the international division of Union Oil in Los Angeles, but he is not on the West Coast very often. Al specializes in oil exploration, mainly in Central and South America. He has spent much of the past two years on offshore exploration drilling platforms off the coast of Honduras and Nicaragua. Last year Al got "caught" on a platform 100 miles off Nicaragua when Hurricane "Fifi" came through the north coast of Honduras. Obviously, he rode the storm out, but he admits it was "quite an experience!"

Steve Hibbs recently moved from Sun Oil to Buckeye Pipe Line Company as manager of employee communications. Says Steve: "I am starting up a Sunday-supplement-style employee magazine which will be coming off the presses soon. No real change in type of industry or commuting pattern. Buckeye transports crude oil and oil products for most of the major oil companies including Sun and is only a half mile from my former office."

Dave Clements dropped John Donnelly a short note recently, saying that he and Linda have transferred to Stockholm to run his company's Scandinavian operations. We hope to hear more from Dave soon.

From the University of New Hampshire to Oxford University in England goes Charlie Ashley for one year. Charlie will be doing postdoctoral work in leadership and administration, and will return to UNH, where he is an associate professor of education, in 1976. Hopefully, Charlie, in time for our 20th Reunion - June 18-20, 1976.
