Duze Lounsberry reports that early returns indicate that a number of Fifteeners have already responded to his call for a respectable reunion gift to the Alumni Fund with generous increases in their contributions. May the rest of the Class do their best, by June 30, to do likewise.
Word has just been received of the death of Therese Rothery, wife of classmate PaulRothery, in Naples, Fla. Paul had written that they would not be able to attend Reunion because Therese was not able to make the trip. There was no indication however that her condition was as serious as it turned out to be. The sympathy of the entire Class goes out to Paul in this moment of his great loss.
If you are hesitating to make up your mind about attending reunion, here are the names of your old friends you will miss seeing if you don't come. Already indicating their intention to attend are: Dale Barker, Ralph Brown and wife, AlBull, Leo Burt and daughter. ChinkChamberlain and daughter, Eben Clough,Charlie Comiskey and wife, Ruth Winship Crance, George Dyke and wife, Marv Frederick and wife, Howie Fuller, Robert Griffin and wife, Dorothy Haubner and daughter, DaveHitchcock and wife, George Ingalls, AlbertJohnson and son. Duze Lounsberry and wife, George Martin, Elvie O'Hara, Kike Richardson, Helen Rose, Elliott Sharp and wife, RalphSawyer and wife, and eight others who have reserved their decision until later. It looks as if we would total 40 or more. See you then.
