The early edition of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE provides an additional opportunity to notify all classmates of our annual fall reunion at Hanover, September 24-25. The executive committee will meet at 3 p.m. Friday, September 24. Arch Earle, editor of the Sentry, has been good enough to include this information in the August issue of our class publication. George Stoddard 'IB of Hanover has been helpful in arranging a joint reunion dinner with contemporaries of his Class at the Drake Room on Saturday, cocktails at 5:30 and dinner at 6:30. Plan to enjoy the gathering, including our musical talent, Arch Earle at the piano, and the 1917 quartet, led by chairman Bob Scott. As well as giving classmates a chance to get together again, there will be the opportunity to make plans for our upcoming 60th reunion. There will also be a football game with UNH Saturday afternoon. Incidently, we have just learned that the Dartmouth Club of New Haven will sponsor a tent at the Dartmouth-Yale game on October 9 and is inviting all reunion classes to use it as a gathering place. The cost will be $2 a person; set-ups, soft drinks, and beer will be provided; and opening time is 11 a.m.

By now, you will have received the final reports from the chairman, Charles Hood, covering the successful conclusion of the current Alumni Fund drive. Congratulations to all agents, and especially to our Len Reade, who won the silver medal in our division. All of our quotas appeared to be tops, including a more than generous increase in the dollars given. This goal has been accomplished in spite of an unavoidable attrition of our class membership. Regretfully, we report the passing of WinthropR. Scudder, Maxwell Sherburne, Laurence Sherman, and Clarence Coffran.
