This is the right place for us to record a tribute to the late Joan Hier, whose cheerful acknowledgments of the reports from the Class of 1902 and ready replies to numerous questions made our task a pleasant one. Her last note explained that the report just received for the September number would be used in the October issue, since the first issue of the academic year is devoted to Commencement reports. Her note was written during her last day in the office.

The officers of the class have not abandoned thoughts of a 75th reunion next June.
