It is too early to report on the Bonnie Oaks weekend or to comment on the results of the Harvard game, but we are confident that the results of both will be satisfactory. In other words, this seems to be sort of an in-between issue. We will get caught up next month, or possibly Sam Lamson will give coverage of both in the next issue of the 24-Hour Notice.
We regret to report the death of Dave Little on September 11. His obituary will appear in this issue, along with the notices of several other classmates.
Several classmates have reported on trips to Bermuda in recent weeks: the Pete Wheatleys,Helen and Arnold Jenkins, and Beatie Adams with members of her family, celebrating various Adamses' birthdays. (We suspect that this was a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for the Jenkinses). The Wheatleys also enjoyed a trip through the Gaspé Peninsula earlier in the summer, with a brief stop-over in Hanover.
A card has been received from the Nilsens, travelling in Germany, with a report on a snowstorm in the Alps - quite an event, no doubt, for Florida residents.
The Holmlunds recently entertained the Wheatleys, Jenkinses, and Bents at their summer home in Falmouth, which may explain the source of some of these news items.
That's all for this month.
