The Chadwells made a visit East in October. I saw them at Brae Burn, where they were having dinner with a friend. Later they spent some time with Hester and John McCrillis. Bud Potter reports he is getting good results from the therapy he is taking and hopes to be able to walk better soon.
The date of the fall reunion in 1977 is September 23-24. Make a note of this on your calendar. Additional information will be sent as we approach the date.
Bri Greeley is taking on weight but says it is entirely due to the fact that his new bride is a good cook. The other bridegroom, Stan Treat, says he is fine after an operation. He recently returned from Hawaii. Ken Huntington reports he spent some time in the Mary Hitchcock Hospital this past summer, but is fine now. He also says Lil Colwell is just great.
This is the time of the year when the annual migration to Florida takes place. If those going will send me their addresses, I shall try to publicize them. Possibly some energetic soul in Florida will arrange for a class reunion there.
Bea and Ed Martin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 16 with a party at the Brae Burn Country Club. Among the guests were a good many Dartmouth people, including a number of'19ers. Lucia Morrill '20, who read a poem written by her for the occasion, was the hit of the evening.
John Ross came East to attend the fall reunion and afterwards went to the Cape for a few days to visit his brother. There he had a heart attack. However, he is now better.
