These notes are sent to you at the request of Dr. George Woodruff, the 1918 class secretary, because he and his wife lone will be on an European vacation. As I recall it, they will be in Spain, according to our chat with the Woodruffs and my wife Marion at lunch prior to their departure.

Of course the main 1918 news is the coming 1918 Pow-Wow at the Holiday Inn, Stuart, Fla., on March 18. Most members of the class of 1918 have received messages from BenMugridge, Howie Park, Al Gottschaldt, and other members of our Class imploring all of us to attend. As mentioned in the January 21, 1976 Road, the Pow-Wow starts at 3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 1209 South U.S. Highway #1, Stuart, Florida 33494. It is also recommended that you write the Inn for reservations.

Your correspondent phoned Richard A. Aishton at his suburban Winnetka home to learn some up-to-date information about him. Dick reported that although he resigned as president of the Continental Illinois National Bank 16 years ago he still has an office in the Bank Building in Chicago which he visits now and then. Dick also commented that he was an honorary director of the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation which organization he had served as president until four or five years ago. He also hunts and plays golf.

A letter to the great Ed Healey, about whom there is an interesting story attached to the current issue of Jake and Marian Bingham'sRoar, received a reply from Ed stating that he planned to be in Chicago, February 10 to attend a dinner at the Hilton Hotel honoring George Halas of the Chicago Bears, as "man of the year" by the Chicago Boys Club. Although he phoned me and had a nice visit with my wife while he was in Chicago, I failed to contact him before he departed for Niles. He was driven to and from Chicago by a neighbor. A couple of nights later, Ed phoned me from Niles to report that he enjoyed the George Halas testimonial dinner a great deal.

Because this reporter was retired from his last job on December 31, 1974 he does not travel as much as formerly, and therefore does not run into other Dartmouth men of our generation.

May I also mention that in past years, Dartmouth men who were in classes preceding and after our Class have also enjoyed attending the 1918 Pow-Wow!
