Geoff Mather tells us that he. works for Traveller's Insurance in Hartford, Conn., assigned to the corporate research department. Geoff went to the Tuck School, then worked for a manufacturing company in the Upper Valley for a year. His progeny includes a son Graham and another baby is expected this fall.
Geoff informs us that Art La Montagne lives near Hartford, where he is finishing a residency in neurology.
Mike Simon relates that he spent a couple years with VISTA in Manchester, N.H., before going to the School of Education at Harvard. At the moment, Mike is teaching in Bradford, N.H., (near Lake Sunapee) and is living in Warner. Simon says Mike Harvey also lives in Warner and that Dick House "was in Europe."
Jim Safford married Deborah Steigerwalt on July 30. Debbie went to the Baldwin School and Connecticut College. She is presently studying for a M.B.A. degree at Temple University, while simultaneously laboring as a financial forecaster at Chase Econometrics in BalaCynwyd, Pa. Jim picked up M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in modern European history from Cornell. He teaches at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
Martha Stone tells us that Andy has been working on a Norman Jewison film, entitled F.I.S.T., starring Sylvester Stallone. Andy's last film, Rollercoaster, was a Dartmouth production. James Goldstone '53 directed, Andy was first assistant director, and Woody Hamilton '72 was a production assistant. Martha and Andy produced Maximilian Anin April. Max, who weighed in at seven lbs six and one half oz, has taken up residence with his folks at 20541 Miranda Place in Woodland Hills, Calif.
Rick and June Saunders also have a new nipper, daughter Jean, who was born on May 28. If you are looking for Rick or June (or Jean), try 5224 Winterberry Circle in Indianapolis. Rick and June moved there in July, where Rick will be doing a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Indiana University.
