By this time, you will have made up your minds, it is hoped, to return to Hanover for our Mighty 60th, June 10-12. In addition to good fellowship, fun, and programs sponsored by the College, you will have the responsibility of electing class officers for the ensuing five years.
Bob Scott, chairman of the nominating committee, reports the following list of members to serve on the executive committee: Luman B. Howe, Robert D. Scott, Leonard J. Reade, Edgar C. Earle, Richard L. Holbrook, George E. Clark, Theodore C. Lonnquest, Philip G. Evans, Vincent K. Smith, Alden G. Vaughan, Raymond H. Baxter, Waltman Walters, Chauncey A. Steiger. In addition, six men were nominated as alternates in case of need: Everett Olds, Wendell Reycroft, Percival Streeter, Willis Fitch, Donald Litchard, and Allenton Hickmott.
Your secretary has enjoyed visits with Alden Vaughan, now a resident of Hanover. He has recently been giving talks displaying his knowledge of ancient documents, some of which back to 1300, to a group centered at the Howe Library.
Memorial services were held at the United Church of Christ in Northfield, Vt., for the oldest member of our class, Victor C. Smith, who passed away on January 13. The Class was represented by your secretary and his wife. Also in attendance was Gordon Lane '32 of Barre, Vt. A complete obituary will appear in this or a later issue.
Also, we regretfully report the tragic death of Maurice Watkins and his wife Lucy, who were both killed by a hit-and-run driver in Ormond Beach, Fla.
