Ed Ferguson writes, "Your letter sent to all classmates is one of the best things our class secretary has done in 60 years." (Thanks, Ed. Wish responses from others would prove such. However, tomorrow I will send out 22 more to classmates selected at random.) Ed and his wife Kathy accept some arthritis as evidence of a full life. The operations on both of Kathy's eyes were very successful. Sewell Stout phoned them a report of the reunion. Ed misses his former regular chats with Harvey Hood.

The Myron (Speed) Savages have moved to Great Hill Estates, West -Wareham, Mass. 02576, a lovely park section near their oldest daughter. Their other daughter lives in Kansas. They have nine grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Bill and Speed are two former buddies of your secretary. We were in the 301 st Signal Corps of the Sixth Army in France together. Where are the rest of the 65 Dartmouth men in that company? May we hear from you?
George and lone Woodruff plan to spend part of the winter in Puerto Rico and Florida. While in Florida they are to visit several retirement homes. We sent them a list gleaned from a publication that can be secured from "Directory," Box 100 D, Kennett Square, Pa. 19348, at a cost of $5.95. It covers all states and only lifetime care, like that at Kendal at Longwood, which your secretary has found so delightful.
Harold L. Bruette of Rockport, Mass., died on September 27. On behalf of the Class a message of sympathy has been sent to the family. An obituary will appear in this or another issue.
Co-president Chet Hulbert reported on the services for our departed president, Dwight S. Sargent, as follows: "I picked up Dorothy Mahoney at Scarsdale and we proceeded to the charming Unitarian Church in Hastings-on-Hudson where the Sargent family worship. It was a beautiful service during which widow Peg, son Dave, daughter Betsy, and a granddaughter reminisced about their lives with husband, father, and grandfather. All was done with great candor and a touch of humor, and it was very touching. The services were wellattended, for Dwight had many friends, as to be expected."
May all who read have a grand holiday season.
