The recent picture of John Wentworth on the front of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE caused Jim Davis to write that Wentworth, in the service of the King, conveyed a grant of land of 25 acres, more or less, to one Enoch Bried, who gave it to a man named Sawyer who married his daughter. Eventually Sawyer sold it to a family named Huntington, from whom in the course of time the Davises bought it. Now they have put it in the names of their two children, Polly and Jim. In all this time, only three families have lived on it, including the Davis tribe.

The combination of a tough winter and therapy on his wife's ankle kept Ray Hinds housebound for most of the winter. They did get to Schenectady for the wedding of their grandson.

A change of address from Sara Wilkinson indicates she has moved from San Gabriel, Calif., to Honolulu. Florence Stecher writes that she had a wonderful cruise and thoroughly enjoyed several weeks in China. Bob Paisley has had another operation. He would appreciate a letter or a card, but do not expect them to be answered.

If you have not already done so, make reservations direct with the Hanover Inn for the fall party. It will be held on September 22 and 23 and is always an enjoyable affair.

Have a good and happy summer.
