The class was represented at Class Officers Weekend by Earl Daum, Sam Lamson, Dave Dyche, Stan Chittick, Beatie Adams, and Dana Bent. As usual, the meetings with administration officials were interesting and informative. A meeting of the class executive committee was held, which Earl Daum chaired in the absence of Jimmie Reid, who has been unable to return East because of hip problems. As to this meeting, suffice it to say that the affairs of the Class are in good order, and progress on the Alumni Fund and reunion giving is showing satisfactory results.
On Saturday night the above-mentioned group, with spouses, was entertained at cocktails by the Aliens, along with other members of the Hanover 1924 group: DonBartlett, Mary Bridge, the Wes Blakes, Helen Coyle, the Stu Eldredges, Ina Foley, Janet Gill, and Dick Morin. It was a most enjoyable party.
Wes and Bassy Blake have recently been on a trip to Greece (returning in time for reunion). This is the second trip awarded to Wes by Tobler Chocolates for his sales efforts.
Warren Whitney has recently been hospitalized for eye problems.
Two paintings by Stu Eldredge have been exhibited recently in the Brattleboro Art Museum.
Beatie Adams reports that while she and her daughter Jean (the class baby) were on their trip to Australia last fall, they met HowardBissell.
The Chitticks traveled to China in the early spring. Their tour included visits to six cities. They were accompanied by Chinese guides and were accorded special treatment by Chinese government officials.
Kay Spaulding has been to Paris to assist her daughter, Sue, in moving to Switzerland.
