Summer is over and we look forward to the fall season with all its activities and the annual gathering of classmates in Hanover on the weekend of the William and Mary game (which will be a matter of history as these notes are published). And once again, the secretary is back to record what news has come his way.
Robin Robinson has been appointed to take over the responsibility of the "24 Hour Notice." We look forward to working with him.
About the time these notes are published, the Holmlunds will be cruising up the Amazon River. Their trip ends at Iquitos, Peru, after which they fly to Lima, then to Miami and on home to Arizona about November 1.
Our best wishes to Jim and HerthaWheaton, who were married on May 4. They are making their home at 2141 Treehaven Circle, Fort Myers, Fla.

Another successful Alumni Fund campaign has been completed. Thanks to Earl Daum, his assistant class agents, and the response by members of the class, our quota was exceeded by $10,000.
A letter from Herb Kaiser reports that he and Dorothy toured Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia, stopping in Paris and London for a few days.
John Barlow has moved from Los Angeles to Walnut Creek, Calif. Before passing on this information, John had talked with Leon Rothschild, who reported that he is feeling pretty good but his walking is impaired.
After moving to Atlanta, Seward Bowers has now returned to Hilton Head, where they plan to live in a retirement health-care community.
The Robin Robinsons spent two weeks in Maine in August, meeting with the Aliens and the Stub Reids along the way. Earlier in the summer the Bents enjoyed a visit from the Robinsons.
We have learned that the Wheatleys were the sole representatives of the class at Alumni College this year.
