As I write this, the foliage is still brilliant on the hillside and it is perfect weather for golf. But when you read it, there will be snow (probably) on the ground and it will be Christmas time. And so, to one and all, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Nick Sandoe, John McCrillis, and RayHinds, accompanied by their spouses, attended the Harvard game and, needless to say, had an enjoyable afternoon. The weather co-operated, too, and the victory made for a perfect afternoon.

I have been looking over the Alumni Fund results and I am impressed that several of the classes are having 100 per cent participation. There is no good reason why our class cannot do as well. Dick Wilder died recently in Clearwater, Fla. His wife says in a letter, "No woman lives with a Dartmouth man for 37 and a half years without becoming enamored with the College."
