David Ruml has been elected assistant vice president, real estate and mortgages, by the board of directors of State Mutual Life Assurance Company of America, whose headquarters are in Worcester, Mass. Dave joined State Mutual in 1975 after receiving his master's degree in business administration from the Tuck School, was appointed to real estate analyst the following year, became a senior real estate analyst in 1977, and real estate officer and assistant treasurer in 1979. Bob Mustard writes: "I have left the pressure cooker of corporate 'big business' at Procter & Gamble for the wheeling and dealing of the food brokerage business with Mordecai-Chase Associates as an account executive. I no longer worry about having to pack the bags and family up for a big move. The big irony is that I left Wellesley to live in Beverly, Mass., to be closer to work, only to end up working in Wellesley and fighting the daily traffic on Route 128.

Finally, a reminder to mark your calendar for our tenth reunion, June 18-21. Watch your mailbox for further details and make your plans now to attend. We'll be back next month, so drop us a line with your news.
