Greetings again, people; let me get through some housecleaning before the news. I owe Ehney Camp an apology for allowing his name to be misspelled in a past column. "Sorry, E.C.," but the mishap led to a letter from Ehney which I much appreciated. After a justified lambasting of your secretary for this faux pas, Ehney relates the following: "I am still happily married to Pat, and we have two fine children- Ehney IV (12) and Margaret (ten). I spend most of my time playing golf, following Alabama football, and having an occasional 'ale.' In between, I am president of a company I formed in 1975, Camp and Company, which is a mortgage banking and real estate company. We are also in the real estate development and property management business. After never giving it a try while in college, Pat and I took up skiing several years ago and try to make two trips a year to Colorado." Ehney goes on to send his regards to all. Thanks again, E.C.; now, whose name can I misspell next? (How about Blob Cahners, Job Bartles, Mob Freeman, Nob Burton, Slot Creelman, Tan Dephouse, etc.)

William Howey, personnel director for Waddell and Reed, a financial services company in Kansas City, Mo., has been appointed vice president of Region 14 (lowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska) of the American Society for Personnel Administration for 1982. This organization is devoted to the advancement of human resources management and it has 30,000 members whose organizations employ over 38 million people. The society assists in the professional development of its members, provides leadership in personnel management, supports research in management techniques, and fosters the exchange of information to improve personnel management. Bill and his wife Patricia reside in Blue Springs, Mo. (Bill, please lower the unemployment rate so my tax cut from Reagan will not be jeopardized. Let me know how you make out.)

Howard Seaver took the time to send the following letter; thanks, Howard: "I've recently opened my own office here in Burlington. I live in Charlotte, Vt., a small, rural town about ten miles south of Burlington. My wife Barbara and I have three children Abby, age eight, David, age four and a half, and Kate, age one and a half. After college, I spent two years in the Army as an intelligence officer, seeing duty in Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. I then went to law school at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1969. My first jobs were with large corporations in New York City (Chase Manhattan Bank and the Franklin Stores Corporation). In 1972, Barb and I moved to Poultney, Vt., where I practiced law with a small firm for about five years and where I was chairman of the town school board. About four and a half years ago we moved to the Burlington area. I worked with an existing firm up until a few weeks ago, when I opened my own shop. I have been active in civic organizations in the Burlington area and am an avid crosscountry skier."

Note from Charlie Marsh: "Last fall, while wives talked in Ed Gingras's living room (Portola Valley, Calif.), Ed, Alan "Doc" Davis, Steve Thompson, Orville "Reb" Foote '65. and myself enjoyed the first annual northern California '64 Alpha Theta father-children sports evening - b-ball, ping pong, horseback riding, scootball, and, inside, space invaders. Honored guest was Dave Calder from Indonesia, where he is medical aid director for A.1.D." (I wonder if Alpha Theta is still dominating the 'Hums' competition. Oh well, ho-hum.)

I just checked my file, and I am getting low on info for the next column. Please be considerate of your secretary's predicament and send me some news. I promise I will misspell your name. Bye. (I would appreciate you wives sending me something, too, as it is the wives who have bailed me out in the past.)
