Unfortunately, the news of '14ers is scarce these days. The only word that has been received lately, and which I transmit in the absence of any official class secretary, is of the death of Louise van Zelm, widow of our classmate Frederic A. Davidson. She passed away on March 2 in New Rochelle, N.Y. The news came to us from her granddaughter, Anne Davidson, a Dartmouth undergraduate in the class of'83. Louise also had two other grandchildren who have gone or are going to Dartmouth.
