Rob is a Tuck School grad. He most recently served as vice president, marketing, tor Huffy G poration and has had marketing and sales positions with Beverage Management Inc . O. M. Scott and Sons, and Procter and Gamble. Rob is also a Scout master for a troop of 60 and will supervise 40 Scouts going backpacking in July for two weeks in the New Mexico mountains. Double congratulations are in order to Larry Schwartz. First, he was recently appointed senior vice president for business development of Loral Electronic Systems. For the past six years, Larry headed the engineering department there. Second, Larry has three children graduating from college this year, including son Randy graduating from Dartmouth. The USens ran 'nto Don and Laura Maurer at the ski lodge in Alta, Utah. They skied, socialized, and enjoyed getting acquainted for a week. Don and his wife both work for 1.8.M. in the Philadelphia area. Don as a senior account representative. They live in Merian. Pa., where they are redoing an old house. Walter shared the speakers platform at the Minutemen Dartmouth Club with Steve Nichols, who is taking over as head of the Department of Comparative Literature at Dartmouth. Steve teaches Romance languages French and Italian. He and wife Edie plan to travel to Europe to visit some of the language programs there. The Yusens will have a daughter at Concord Academy and a son at Milton Academy this fall. Jane Yusen is working out of the house on a computer support project while Walt continues to work on the travel programs that he has established at Yusen and Associates of Woburn. Mass.
Two Chicago items close the news. A recent issue of the Chicago Tribune pictured Barnet C. Engler, partner, representing his law firm. Altheimer and Gray, at the topping-out ceremonies of a new building on Wacker Drive where his firm will move next year. Barney is a leading real estate attorney in Chicago. Another Tribune issue announced that Larry Weltin, formerly president and chief operating officer of Liller, Neal, Weltin, Inc., an Atlanta agency, has become senior vice president and management representative of Stern Walters/ Earle Ludgin of Chicago. Larry is very pleased with his new position and believes it will provide the opportunity he was seeking. We are all delighted to have the Weltins back in Chicago.
