Many thanks to Robin Robinson for filling in on the May issue. You will be glad to know that when I went to the' Cape to talk to Dana Bent and pick up his material on the class, I found him very much improved. A few days earlier he had been out for the first time to a Cape Cod Dartmouth luncheon, naturally enough. Gretchen and he celebrated further by taking me out to lunch as his second outside* venture.

I have just returned from Class Officers Weekend in Hanover. Our class received special mention for having the most complete delegation present. Don Wilbur called an executive committee meeting for Saturday afternoon. I am sending a copy of the minutes to Robin for possible inclusion in the " '24-Hour Notice."

Present were Wilbur, Wheatley, Taylor, Robinson, Morin, Dyche, Chittick, Beatie Adams, and the new secretary.

Don Wilbur reported on the College's plans to improve the ambience of undergraduate life by physical improvement of living and eating arrangements. You will be hearing about the "ails in due course. Rollie Taylor reported on the Alumni Fund that as of May 2 we were well ahead of last year in dollars, but that to keep our Percentage ranking we will need five classmates who did not give last year to join the am this year. Stan Chittick gave a financial rePon, which showed we were amply solvent. Batie Adams reported as to her usual dilice in following up with widows of classmates.

There was considerable discussion about the fall mini-reunion and as to the possibility that it had outlived its viability. In view of commit- ments from most of those present to attend, and in view of the fact that the season is opening with Princeton as an opponent rather than a non-Ivy League team, the consensus was that we should go ahead with a September 17 date with headquarters at the Norwich Inn. The early date is also appealing. You will be hearing more about this later.

The most important report was from Dick Morin, our 60th reunion committee chairman. Dick has already assembled a formidable team: Don Bartlett, vice chairman; Robin Robinson, treasurer; Chinee Allen, memorial service; Beatie Adams, wives and widows; and Dave Dyche, adviser.

After the class meeting, the committee adjourned to the Morins' house in Norwich for the spectacular view, delightful hors d'oeuvres, and suitable libations. We were joined by Don Bartlett and accompanied by spouses Ellen Robinson, Edna Taylor, and Virginia Wilbur, by Beatie Adams's daughter Bea, and, of course, by our hostess, Pauline Morin.

Courtesy of Robin, I have a report from Larry Kugelman of a Florida excursion in February. His trip included a visit with Pat and Maury Cate and talks with Emily and Frank Granata and Audie Countryman.

My only recent contact has been with Ed Willi still living, and practicing law, in New York City, and the senior partner in his law firm. Very much on the ball!

I need news! Write me and brag a little!
