Thanks to a few green cards, Cap Palmer will be able to get out an issue of "Skiddoo," and your secretary will be able to assemble a few notes for the Alumni Magazine. Remember that this is written in early August; the deadline for copy in the October issue of the Magazine is August 15, with a two-month period in processing for publication.

Paul Carver spends seven months of the year in Naples, Fla. He says that A 1 Marsters '30 is getting too good for him. Paul and his wife Ruth are in pretty good health.

Pete Jones's wife Peggy died in May after a long bout with Alzheimer's. Pete is in good health.

Long before this is published, Cap Palmer will have issued the fall "Skiddoo" with longer items. And probably more interesting items.

Susan B. Grenier, Ted Barstow's daughter, writes that Ted has been in a nursing home for more than two years.

Nick Andretta says he is still shooting close but needs another hole-in-one.

Henry J. Perkins, as of May 4, is recovering and convalescing from two bits of major urological surgery and is almost back to normal. He comments that his vision is poor and that he could use some of Ike Miller's double vision. Ike's vision is reported to be improving.

Mrs. Sam Yaffe notes that one of their daughters, Linda, is chief of neurology at Mt. Auburn Hospital and does additional work at Harvard Medical School, Tufts, Boston University, and MIT.

Jack Osborne reports that he flew from mid-America for the sports dinner put on by the Boston Alumni Association.

Very few of you know, but Connie Dodge '23 ad actually has a job to do for the class. She writes, "It was back in the days when Wilcox was working on the campaign list and he conceived the idea that a Dartmouth wife be in the memorial fund, and I was asked to write the girls when they contributed and I have been doing it ever since. I think it's a great idea, and I am perfectly willing to continue. I have been very close to many and do enjoy the contacts. I am also helpful when there are reunions and football games. There is a feeling of loyalty to their husbands and classmates." Keep up the good work, Connie; we need your efforts more and more.

This article will not be able to give you any information as to what is going on in the early fall. Apparently there will not be a mini-reunion over the Harvard game weekend. We hope that in spite of the decimation of the class officers from either death or disability we can have a get-together in May for Class Officers Weekend and then again in the fall of '85 at one of the games, preferably near October 12. In the meantime we will try to reserve a block of rooms either at the Inn, the Chieftain, or some other good location. Use your green card and let me know your interests. Also use it for any other news of yourself or family.
