Fortunately some of you have finally started to discover that I exist. Almost every day I get a few of those little green postcards. I hope that I'm getting all of them. I've been having some weird problems with my local post office.
Sally Eastman writes that she has long since returned from Africa and now teaches English to high schoolers in Rye, N.Y. She is getting her master's at Columbia at night.

At Harvard he was looking to change the world and realized that sociology was not going to be the way to do it. He considered various career possibilities over the next five years while continuing in the program. He recently decided on computers and took a job with DEC in New York City last November as a software specialist. He got married to Marcie Solovay (UPenn '78) in May of 1982.
Doug Wildes writes that he is still slogging away at a physics Ph.D. (at Cornell) although his advisor theatened recently to put a stop to that. He's talking about thesis writing next fall. Doug thinks that means a degree in August of 1985.
Diane Boyer is still living in Vail and loving the mountains. She is currently vice president and national sales manager for Skimer Skiwear and Skea ski products. She complains that there is not enough skiing and too much work, but notes that there is lots of blue great snow, and super windsurfing on the mountain lakes all summer. She says, "I would not trade this life for anything." She gets lots of travel to Europe and within the U.S. as well. She would love to hear from friends when they are in the area. (As I turn green with jealousy, I hope that about 300 '7Bs drop in on her, all at the same time, looking for a ski lodge.)

Barry Hutsel just got divorced but will be taking the plunge again soon. His fiance has been transferred from Ottawa to Winnipeg (where he lives) and they will be looking for a house this spring. Paul Sawyer and MarkMiles also live in the area. Barry asks any '78s who are interested in picnic, tails, horse racing, and river-boating over the '.'long weekend" in August to contact him. He would be glad to see you. (I wonder if this refers to some holiday that they celebrate in Canada, but not here.) Anyway, his home address is 312 Wallasey Street in Winnipeg.
