Time again for the annual dues plea. What mean-hearted souls are there who would begrudge Ed Gingras the measly $20 it takes to keep the well-oiled wheels of our class turning? It probably would take less than five minutes to pull out the old checkbook and write a quickie, so do it now while you're more or less tempted. Of course anything over and above the $20 would be much appreciated.
Jerry Palm writes, "After 18 years in the Seattle office of the law firm of Williams, Kastner and Gibbs, I have recently moved to the firm's Bellevue, Wash., office. We also have an office in Tacoma, which is 30 miles south of Seattle. My practice emphasizes civil litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability, labor, and general commercial litigation." Jerry goes on to say that he has moved to another home on Mercer Island, which is just east of Seattle.
He sees Dan Garnett fairly frequently. Dan is a general and thoracic surgeon in Seattle, where he lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons. Also in Seattle is Read Langenbach, who is also a lawyer.
Hugh Savage writes that he has a new job as a construction administrator for Harriman Associates Architects in Auburn, Maine. "Glad to be back at last after 13 years in the Pacific Northwest and Wisconsin. Hope to see more classmates at Harvard-Dartmouth game."
This column is being written while listening to Dartmouth dropping one to Penn. By the time you read this the season will be almost over and the football fortunes of The Big Green may or may not have improved. We can all help by becoming involved in the Dartmouth Athletic Sponsors Program, which finances the visits of promising high school athletes to Hanover. Let me know if you are interested.
