The summer has progressed relatively uneventfully, but my travels have at least turned up a couple of you. On a recent trip to Denver I was pleasantly surprised by Tim Gilchrist '74, who assures me that several of our classmates are doing quite well. He apparently bumps into Hal Macartney regularly, who I believe has been working in Denver since graduation in the oil "bidniss."

During a separate visit to Hartford, Conn., I stumbled across Pat Palmer, GibPalmer's wife. She was in motherly pose trying to feed lunch to her brood. I believe that Gib was at the golf course practicing for some business meeting later that week. We had a brief visit, and all seems to be well, although the kids were moving so fast I'm not sure if there were two or three.

On my daily trips down the Lexington Avenue express I have not yet caught up with Mary Strohm McDonald Pascale. I did, however, find her in the phone book. You may remember her, as I did, as Cathy. Cathy is living in Scarsdale with her husband Michael and three-year-old son. She has been with Bear Stearns since 1981 as a securities analyst, and will soon start a new position analyzing the savings and loan industry. Although we have yet to see each other on the subway, we have made a date to meet at the Bowling Green station.

Hope to see you in Hanover this fall.
