I have had several letters from Jane Russell. She says Stu is pretty much confined to the apartment but loves to hear from his old friends, jane is well.

Another telephone call from Florence Stecher reveals she will be in Scottsdale, Ariz., most of the winter. Bea and I spent several winters in Scottsdale with Bob and Florence and we had wonderful times.

The writer expects to spend most of next week in New York City visiting places where we used to live and eating where we used to dine. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time.
