Larry Kugelman has moved from Chappaqua, N.Y., to Leisure Village West in Lakehurst, N.J. Monti Monahan reports a lunch that he and Barbara had with Larry last summer. "As the chef he put on quite a gourmet performance, even down to wild strawberry jam with strawberries of his own picking." Larry was looking forward to an extended trip to Hawaii. Monti is long on news about others, but short on reports of his own activities. At least we know he is still living in Newtown Square, Pa.
We reported a few issues ago that Al Rider had been carried under the alumni records as a member of the class of '25 but had a preference for '24, with which he entered and spent most of his undergraduate years before being out for a year as a result of illness. I didn't realize when I welcomed him back into the fold quite what a prize we were regaining. Who's Who goes on and on about him chairman of the board of the Fairfield County Trust Company, director of various well-known companies, member and officer of civic groups galore, both local and national, etc. Moreover, of the three sons, the oldest, Donald, class of '51, played golf at the Royal Poinciani Club in Naples, Fla.
Pete Wheatley reports on life at North Hill in Needham, to which Pete and Al moved in May of 1985. As far as we can make out from Pete's observations, North Hill might well be named Dartmouth South. In any event, Pete and Hal are glad they made the move. Pete does report talking to Joe Willard and plans for Boca Raton with the Willards.
