Finally getting settled back in beautiful New Hampshire after an 11-year stint in Texas. Way too much lawn to mow, but the proximity to the College and many area classmates promises an ideal retirement environment. Hopefully, it will augur well for a more informative and enjoyable column in the months and years ahead. Also, this is a most appropriate moment for another plug for each of you guys to drop a line to your secretary with information you'd like to share with the class. Don't hold back, for this column is our primary method of renewing ties and developing even stronger cohesiveness among all of us.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to mark your calendars for the October 9- 10 mini-reunion weekend. Saturday night at Regand Nancy Pierce's in Etna will, in the words of co-chairmen Whitey Burnham and Jack Sayers, be "the icing on what should be a gala mini-reunion, 1987 variety."
