One of the things this great class' should shout about is the repeated success of its giving to the Alumni Fund. We did not quite make it this year but we came very close and established a record for a 65-year class. And then there were only four non-contributors and they must have had a very good reason, such as grave illness.
There was a very good article about the Professor Cole episode in a magazine I had never seen before. The magazine was named Insight. It is worth reading if you can find a copy.
Another bit of information just gleaned from the Boston Globe is that there will probably be a curfew on dormitory visitors, especially those of the other gender.
I am very short on news as I have only one green card which was sent here by CapPalmer. He could not read the signature. It might have been Mike May but there was no information on the card. Also, Leon Sargent died after a long illness.
Without much class news, here is a bit of philosophy which might be of interest to us old codgers.
"The Joys of Living: As soon as I awake, Will Power helps me out of bed. When he leaves I go to see John. Then Charlie Horse comes along and when he is here he gets a lot of my attention. When he leaves Arthur Ritis shows up and stays the rest of the day. He doesn't stay in one place very long, so he takes me from joint to joint. After such a busy day, I'm really tired and ready to go to bed with Ben Gay. What a day!"
