Pinky Flannery says, "I find myself still getting involved." He's elected vice president and president-elect of the Academy of Hospice Physicians.

John and Elain Moxon sent a beautiful brochure on Ripley Castle, which they visited in Ireland recently. It's never had a Ripley in residence. I'll take Cape Cod. Artand Esther Nighswander took off for Eurupe on September 6.

Phoning for news I found Charlie King well in Wilmette, I11., but far away from Dartmouth things. Mary Schaffer says Charlie is fine, but he was out. John Quebman was just off the golf links. They'll miss the Penn weekend because Adelaide is recovering from an operation.

Bill Andres and I plan to join our leader, Dick Black, on the Penn weekend to press plans for our 60th Reunion Alumni Fund. We plan no special gift, so we want to make our 60th Fund a good one.

Bob Tunnell, son of our Bob Tunnell, had a refreshing rebuke to the editors of The Wall Street Journal in their letters column on April 7.Anyone who has to get out a regular column can see why editors and columnists fall for those who feed them a free story.

The editors of the Review are clever at seducing their way into the press. Once in a story is never retracted.

There are few wastes worse than the loss of our joy in loyalty. Here's one for the Review: Our only tactic is attack. We don't care whom we hurt. Give us the coat right off your back, And we'll tear off your shirt. We're the sole judge of society, And we kick up quite a fuss. You may hate our notoriety, But it gets good jobs for us. Selah.
