Following my introduction as 1918's Class Notes writer, I received two very nice letters, one from Bill Montgomery and the other from Jack Bingham's daughter Jane. My thanks to both of them for their appreciation.

Bill warned me that it would be tough to get news from the class of '18. Perhaps after the 70th Reunion, the mailman in my case it is a woman will have a sack full of notes about the good times on the "Dartmouth Green."

Jane Bingham Fawcett writes that her two daughters are out of the nest and on their own, with one working in New York as a social worker in the "Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, and the other working in Ann Arbor, Mich., with an architectural firm. Jane and family spent last Christmas at the home of H. Wilder Pierce '37, on Bequia high above Friendship Bay.

Now if I don't hear from you stalwart sons of Dartmouth and alumni wives, you are going to be treated to more of this: TomBryant's grandson, Tom Koedding, will graduate this year from Drexel University, and Tom's mother, Pat, is expecting two new grandchildren, which will bring the count up to seven.

Cheers from the Brandy wine Valley and Andrew Wyeth!
