Our ex-congressman, Dave Martin presented the Hood with a valuable painting by the Flemish artist David in May. Dave, by the way, was one of the first to be presented the College's Daniel Webster award.
John Quebman and Ted Howard '28 attended the funeral of their roommate, Harold Monamat, who died on September 18. Harold's years in the State Department and as director of the Pan American Society made him one of our more colorful '29ers.
