The mini-reunion for the Yale game in October had mini-attendance, including Charles Nearburg, BobDoerr, John Burke, ShelPrentice, Joe Fallon,Fuzzy Thurston, and Jon Binsidler. Charles also saw John Collier, YoungDawkins, and Tom Kent while in Hanover. Bob Doerr was in from Minneapolis, where his firm is a manufacturing representative for consumer electronics. Bob occasionally sees Dan Hergott in Minneapolis, and Dan reports that he saw Chuck andMary Leer at their cabaret, "Ruby's."

Shel Prentice also attended the Princeton game earlier in the year, where he reported seeing Wayne Young, Jack Manning, and Peter Thompson. Peter had come in from California for Alumni Fund meetings, substituting for Craig Bentley, who claimed paternity leave. Joe Fallon reports that the memorial fund for George Buesing has reached the self-perpetuating level, ana next month I'll try to have an update on several other funds established in memory of former classmates.

The ink was still wet in my column on retirement two months ago when PeterBroberg called to tell me that he was coming out of retirement to pitch in the new Senior League this winter in Florida. That column also finally flushed out Dave Bailey, who indeed left Wall Street last winter. Dave and Barbara recently bought a place on Hilton Head Island, and plan on moving as soon as they sell their home in Westchester County. Dave figures he needs the next ten years to improve his golf game from an 18 handicap to scratch by the time he is old enough for the Senior PGA tour.

And finally, David Carroll has the male lead as Baron Felix Von Gaigern in GrandHotel, a Tommy Tune musical which opens on Broadway in November. Martha Hennessey '76 and her husband, Steve Severson '74, saw the show while it was previewing in Boston, and Martha predicts more good reviews for David.
