In the celebration of the 90th Dartmouth Night on October 14, Warren and Jeanne Daniell, Len Morrissey, and Dick Litchfield represented our class, the oldest in the parade, riding in the fourth car following President and Mrs. Freedman, Coach Teevens, and the football captains. This was an especially fine occasion the parade, the bonfire, the tremendous turnout of students and residents of the North Country. It was a happy evening for the College and for all who were there, participants and spectators.
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Larry Farnham on September 2 and of Les Wagner on October 20. Obituaries will follow.
The writer, substituting for Len Morrissey who was unable to get down from Hanover, attended the luncheon meeting of newsletter editors on November 17 at the Dartmouth Club in New York. The speaker was George Munroe '43, chairman of the College Trustees, who was accompanied by Mike Choukas '51 director, and Sally Prescott, assistant director, of Alumni Affairs. Mr. Munroe presented in considerable detail an account of the current status of the College. The whole affair that noon was enlightening and most encouraging for the future of our college.
