Is everybody thinking reunion? June 12-15, 1989. Bill Hudson and his group of worthies are even now working hard so that this will be another wonderful gathering of the class. There will be lots of activities some intellectual, some physical, some educational and, of course, dining. (There are those of us who feel and indeed make a living with the certainty that food makes all else possible.) The chance to talk with the classmates we knew well and indeed those we did not know so well is an infrequent opportunity, and when all is said and done a lasting pleasure which is really what a reunion is all about sharing of the present with those with a common background. It seems that both people and reunions become more comfortable as the years go by.

George Fenzl has recently been named a vice president of STV/Sanders & Thomas. George is based in McLean, Va., where he is responsible for marketing the firm's technical documentation and integrated logistic support services to military hardware suppliers. George joined STV/Sanders & Thomas in 1986 after a 30-year career with the U.S. Navy. While in the navy, George served in such diverse capacities as systems program manager with the Naval Air Systems Command, senior executive assistant director for the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and Director of the Human Resources Detachment, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and commanding officer of an aircraft squadron engaged in combat operations. He was the recipient of the Legion of Merit, six Distinguished Flying Crosses, and the Purple Heart. He has also graduated from the Naval War College and the U.S. Navy's Behavioral Sciences and Management Curriculum. George and his wife, Roxana, have two children.

Al Uris, after 14 years in Vermont as a country lawyer, has now "returned to the scene of the crime" and is living in Bayside, N.Y., near the neighborhood where he spent his childhood. He spent three years as a prosecutor in the Queens County district attorney's office trying 45 felony cases to a verdict "before coming to his senses and returning' to private practice. These were the most exciting years of my career as a wandering lawyer." His wife, Sheila, and daughter Genny have adjusted to New York and are doing well despite their initial lack of enthusiasm for the move. Al visited Morris Yarowsky in Richmond, Va., this past summer. Morris is teaching at the university of Virginia School of Fine Arts.

Gus Aberle has had a busy Dartmouth time recently, having spent a weekend in August in Indiana with Eliot Smith, then a time in Milton, Mass., with Bruce and Mary Jane Alexander, and farther bought a condo in Hanover as he hopes to live there some day. Gus has resigned after serving for 11 years as president of the Dartmouth Club of London. Gus also notes that he ran into John French in a London hotel bar.

It's going to be a great reunion. Plan for it. Allow for it. Come!
