John S. Packard joins the classmates who have left us. He died December 27 in Vero Beach, Fla., of an aortic aneurism.

Harry White, writing from Danbury, Conn., says his life has been music after 12 years of lessons at home with a musical mother and years as an entertainer at hotels and night spots, playing the piano as a sideline from his various jobs as store manager, purchasing agent, etc. He attended Harvard Law briefly, lectured at various colleges and universities, and has been a member of the Lions Club and the Dartmouth and Harvard Clubs in New York. He had polio at 40, when he was with Montgomery Ward in Texas, and now walks slowly with'two canes. He has traveled in most of the states and is a student of songs, laughter, and nonsense of the past generation, including burlesque.

The new '25 Scholarship holder is Kellyanrs. Mac Lean '92 from Andover, Mass. In nigh school she was a member of the National Honor Society, on the student council, member of the Academic Decathlon Team, and a cheerleader. Her courses include religion, geology, and environmental studies.

Her first term average was 3.89. Joel Allison '88, who graduated last June, was a '25 scholar. She maintained a solid B average, was active in Sigma Nu, the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Brass Quintet. Kevin Luensmann '90, holder of our John Davis Scholarship, has been elected co-captain of the football team and also has an excellent scholastic record. Robert Walker '90 is the new holder of the Duncan B. Sleigh '67 Scholarship.

Jean Donovan (daughter of Clint Taylor) writes that her mother, Inez, though bedridden, remains cheerful.
