Those of you who have children know what it's like; those who haven't can't even imagine. The process of naming a child has probably caused more divorces than extramarital affairs. The women on Lou Ann's side of the family are named Betty Lou, Gina Rae, Jeri Lynn, and Mary Jo. The men on my father's side are Fred and Gerald. What's a contemporary couple (who reject the mere thought of Tiffany and Sean) to do? All printable suggestions will be.
Roger Clarkson is searching for someone to fill the shoes of Charlie Perkins who has surrendered his duties as Class Newsletter editor. All interested '75ers should give Roger a call at 603/643-6004.
I know that I speak for many of you in saying that I was saddened by the death of John LeMoal. While I did not know John well, he was the kind of guy you could not help but know of always with a bright smile and upbeat banter. A scholarship fund has been established in his name at the College.
Thanks to MIA Michael Frink for the following note: "After years of reading the often skimpy '75 class notes, and now being designated in 'Incommunicado,' I felt that I should break my silence and write you. I am living with my wife, Jane, and our two Australian shepherds on an old farm in midcoast Maine near the shores of Merrymeeting Bay. We love living in Maine and love the people, the ocean, the natural surroundings and the wilderness. I am a partner in a law firm founded by former Governor and Canadian Ambassador Ken Curtis, and manage the August office in the state capital. Jane is director of public information and communications for the Family Planning Association of Maine. We would welcome the opportunity to share our little corner of God's country with any of my classmates, should your plans bring you to the great State of Maine."
Also responding to the MIA siren, FredCann writes that he has this address for Tris Coffin: 116 Spruell Springs Road, Atlanta, GA 30342. Sure would enjoy hearing from Tris.
