Noticing two addresses for the Augers in the 1921 class list, I dialed the New Bedford number and talked with Loretta. She told me that Roland was not at all well, and that she herself had painful arthritis in spite of taking four Ecotrin every day. She was in an auto accident some years ago and now neither she nor Roland drives. Their two daughters live in the Boston area. Loretta and Roland came north in June and plan to return to Fort Lauderdale on December 1.

DeWitt Mallary has recovered from a hernia operation but uses a cane. More recently he had a cataract operation at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and is delighted with the quick and excellent result.

Blair Watson used a green card to tell me that he met at the Inn for lunch with Ort, DeWitt, Dave Orr and Terri Eastman, and to begin planning for the 70th Reunion June 8—10, 1991. Lucy Briggs was unable to join them. With the excellent help of Dave and Terri, plans are now underway. I suggest you mark the dates on a 1991 calendar.

I wish you all Happy Holidays, and I hope you will write to me about them.
