Apologies for missing the last issue of the Magazine. The early deadline (and other circumstances) threw us off base. It's a bit early to predict expected attendance at our 70th in June, but returns of the green cards so far seem to foretell a gathering of widows and descendants.

Hope Frey has forwarded more of the notes sent with class dues last fall. At that time Dick Watts almost entered a retirement home but decided to "stick it out" a while longer "at the old house." Ralph Roberts: "If I hadn't fallen (not skiing this time) and broken my leg, I would still be on the tennis court, I suppose." We hope you have mended well! Sylvia (Mrs. Dudley) Page had just returned from a "glorious and most interesting" trip to Denmark. She thinks Dartmouth class dues are "more than a bargain." A note from Charlie McGougnran's widow, Frances, tells of her marriage in 1989 to Ray Durling, "a Cornell man, but well worthy of Dartmouth."

Geraldine (Mrs. Stephen) Graves still drives the "elderly" on various errands and had recently enjoyed a boat trip to the Bahamas. A newsy letter from Peg (Mrs. Franklin D.) Johnson lists activities bridge, needlepoint, reading, enjoying watching her family of "golf nuts." A note to me from Ruth (Mrs. Ray) Hutchinson expresses sympathy for Pat's passing and speaks of continuing interest in Dartmouth.

That alumni from other classes occasionally read our "notes" is attested to by a letter from R. Hugh Uhlmann '37, who liked our remarks in the Winter issue about the "golden years" that the members of 1920 were privileged to enjoy. Many thanks!
