Drunk with power, and feeling rather au courant, our class president, LouisaGuthrie, has announced a new policy of perestroika. This year's class election will feature a multi-party system. Everyone—even the class radicals like BruceBierman and Paula Sharp—will now enjoy the right to vote and to run for office. The former controlling party consisting of perennial favorites such as Peggy Epstein, Otho Kerr, Libby Roberts, at al, will disband later this month. Louisa, who is now sporting a mean set of dreadlocks, will be leading an est session at the Hop during the first morning of our reunion. Louisa also reports that Cindy Marder Calder and her husband, Jon, have a new son, Billy. Jennifer Hughes and Doug Smith are expecting in June.
Having grown weary of cocktail parties and pink and green clothes, Custis andJohn Glover have decided to leave Connecticut and move to Amsterdam, where John will be working for a British company as international brand director for Sambucca Romana, an Italian product which is sold through Amsterdam.
Suki and John Carson have also announced a major relocation. John has accepted a two-year appointment as the director of Security Pacific's trading operation in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the Carsons will not be able to join us for the 10th in June. But John's brothers, Lee ('81) and David ('85), will be in Hanover for their 10th and 5th year reunions. John reports that while living in LA. he has kept in touch with Bert Edwards, Larry Mills, and PaulWetmore.
My long-lost fellow T. A., Gail Frawley, is slogging through her last year at Columbia Med School; she will then specialize in anesthesia. Gail's husband, Craig, is working on a combined M.D.-Ph.D. degree. They are the proud parents of two pups named Chopper and Moses.
Montgomery Securities has announced that George Vetter has been named a partner in the firm.
In December, Margaret Avril Lawson gave birth to a son, Jonathan Allen. Margaret and her husband, Jon, live in Cincinnati. And finally, Eddas Bennett reports gainful employment at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta.
