It was a small reunion but we loved it. Our first experience with a midweek reunion netted 54 classmates, most accompanied by wives, and some by children. Midweek meant some folks could only stay a day or two, and some unfortunately had to cancel at the last moment.
Dave Prewitt and Ron Wybranowski were wonderously organized as session after session came off without a hitch. It was a joint reunion with the classes of 1959 and 1960. Many events, from lunches, dinners, and dances to seminars and discussions, were together. That allowed us to catch up with dozens of friends in those two classes.
You missed one of the best Storrs Pond picnics on record, with large fresh lobster and clams and steak and clam chowder as well as a lively country band and lots of fellowship ... a steel drum band in the Bema ... an outdoor tent dance with a fabulous band on Tuck Mall that lasted for more than four hours ... two Glee Club concerts, one by the fellows of our vintage and one by the modern variety. And you missed a week dominated by glorious late spring weather.
Art Kelton was elected class president, succeeding Vic Rich. Bob Rosier was elected vice president. I was re-elected secretary, and Ivar Jozus is your new treasurer. Bert Rowley agreed to take another term as newsletter editor, with Tom Conger becoming West Coast newsletter editor, succeeding otter Anderson. More about other class business next time, especially about some new class projects.

Ross was decompressing after his term as New York's transportation commissioner, looking perhaps to focus now on environmental concerns. The Kuhrts pointed out their son, now a Glee Clubber, and described some of his experiences. Others also were talking about the Dartmouth experience as viewed through the eyes of their children.
More next issue on what some of the folks are doing. In the meantime ...
